Arif Khalil Battles the World’s Best at Pahlavan Mahmud Strongmen Games

This week, the Malaysia Strongestman Association proudly sent athlete Arif Khalil to represent the nation at the 5th Pahlavan Mahmud Strongmen Games, held in Uzbekistan on 12–13 June 2025. A total of 19 elite athletes from 19 countries competed in this prestigious international event.

The contested events included:

1. 1. Kokand Chariot
      Relay challenge: Load two 100 kg sandbags onto a wheelbarrow and push them across a 20-meter course.
   2. Chugirma Hat Toss
      An overhead toss of heavy weights over a 5-meter-high crossbar.
   3. Swords of Jaloliddin and Amir Temur
      Hold a 14 kg sword at arm’s length for maximum time.
   4. Muynag Anchor
      Drag a 200 kg ship anchor over a 20-meter distance.
   5. Columns of Khiva
      Hold two 200 kg inclined columns using both hands in a static position.
   6. Miller’s Walk
      Walk a set distance carrying the iconic Conan’s Wheel.
