Malaysia Strongestman Association is a registered body under the Malaysian Sports Commissioner. The association is dedicated to uniting and developing Strongman athletes, many of whom have represented Malaysia in prestigious international competitions across countries such as India, Hong Kong, South Africa, Brunei, the Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia, and many others.
Since its inception in 2017, Malaysia Strongestman Association has been the leading platform for organizing Strongman competitions in the country. Beyond competition, it actively promotes fitness values and healthy living among its growing community of followers.
The annual event Malaysia’s Strongest Man & Woman has become a highly anticipated national competition, attracting strongmen and strongwomen from all corners of Malaysia. Initially male-dominated, the sport has seen a surge of interest from female athletes in recent years, with many stepping up to compete and demonstrating remarkable strength and determination.
Now recognized as the largest Strongman competition in Malaysia, the event is typically held towards the end of the year. It features a range of demanding strength disciplines, including the log press, axle deadlift, truck deadlift, tire flipping, farmer’s walk, yoke walk, truck pull, and Atlas stones. The overall winner earns the coveted title of Malaysia’s Strongest Man or Malaysia’s Strongest Woman.
