Congratulations to the Malaysian strongman athletes who represented the country and achieved outstanding results at EIC Strongman, held on 5 July 2026 in Bali, Indonesia.
The Malaysian athletes delivered an impressive performance across several men’s and women’s categories, securing three championship titles, one silver medal, and two bronze medals. Their achievements mark another proud moment for the Malaysian strongman community on the international stage.
In the Women U70 category, Lieza from Johor secured third place and a bronze medal. In the Women Open category, Hurun Ain from Johor delivered a strong performance to finish second, while Fatin Jaafar from Selangor also earned a place on the podium by finishing third.
The Malaysian men’s athletes also produced excellent results. Danish Baskaran from Johor emerged as the champion of the Men Open (Beginner) category, while Lam Jia Ding from Johor claimed the championship title in the Men U80 (Pro) category.
Syahir Osman from Selangor completed Malaysia’s impressive medal campaign by winning the Men U95 (Pro) category, bringing the country’s total to three championship titles at the competition.
These achievements demonstrate the ability of Malaysian strongman athletes to compete and succeed on the international stage. Every title and podium finish reflects the athletes’ commitment, discipline, preparation, and determination to perform at their best while representing Malaysia.
