Sibu, Sarawak – The strength sports community came together for another exciting competition as Sibu Strongman 2026 successfully gathered athletes from across Malaysia in a display of exceptional strength, endurance, determination, and sportsmanship. With an audience of approximately 500 spectators, the event highlighted the growing popularity of strongman competitions and the increasing public interest in strength sports nationwide.
The competition featured both men’s and women’s divisions, with athletes competing in a series of challenging events designed to test total-body strength, athletic performance, and mental resilience. Beyond the competition itself, Sibu Strongman 2026 served as an important platform for developing new talent while providing experienced competitors with another opportunity to demonstrate their abilities.
Men’s Division Results
The men’s division featured nine athletes representing Sibu, Sabah, Limbang, Sarikei, Bintangor, Pakan, Julau, and Kuching.

Runner-up: Yong Chee Hang (Sarikei) – RM1,500 Cash Prize, Trophy & Medal
Third Place: Redzuan (Kuching) – RM1,000 Cash Prize, Trophy & Medal
Fourth Place: Frederick Ajang (Limbang) – RM500 Cash Prize, Trophy & Medal
The competition demonstrated the high standard of strongman athletes emerging from different regions of Malaysia, with every competitor displaying remarkable determination throughout the event.

The women’s division welcomed five athletes representing Labuan, Kapit, Sibu, Bintangor, and Lawas.
