SEPANG, 5 September 2026 – The Battle of the Titans: Putrajaya x N9 was successfully held at Kolej Vokasional Sepang, bringing together male and female athletes for a one-day strongman competition jointly organised by the Putrajaya Strongestman Association and Negeri Sembilan Strongestman Association.
Designed as a beginner-level competition, the event provided an important platform for new and developing athletes to experience competitive strongman in a structured environment.
According to the official event poster, competitors were tested across Log Press, Car Deadlift and Loading Race, with the Loading Race featuring Yoke Walk, Farmers Walk and Tyre Flip.
Mikhail Shahzari Foo Takes Men’s Title
In the men’s category, Mikhail Shahzari Foo of Putrajaya emerged as the overall champion.
Muhammad Shahrill Iqram Bin Hishamuddin of Johor secured second place, while Adi Ariff Bin Sarmin of Putrajaya completed the podium in third.
Firman Nazarullah Bin Supandi of Putrajaya finished fourth, followed by Muhammad Haziq of Negeri Sembilan in fifth and Muhammad Amir Bin A. Mizan of Kedah in sixth.
The men’s competition featured 16 athletes, representing Putrajaya, Johor, Negeri Sembilan, Kedah, Pulau Pinang, Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
Norulhuda Zainal Ahbiddin Wins Women’s Category
The women’s category was won by Norulhuda binti Zainal Ahbiddin of Johor, with fellow Johor athlete Norakma taking second place.
Farah Wahidah Binti Muhamad Puad of Kuala Lumpur finished third, while Noor Zihan binti Zainal of Negeri Sembilan took fourth place. Zuridah Binti Wahab of Selangor rounded out the top five.
A total of 17 women were listed in the official results, with Negeri Sembilan strongly represented throughout the field.
Building Strongman From the Ground Up
Beyond determining the winners, Battle of the Titans served a broader purpose, creating opportunities for newcomers to enter competitive strongman.
Beginner-level competitions play an important role in developing the sport by giving emerging athletes the opportunity to understand competition procedures, handle pressure and gain practical experience across traditional strongman events before progressing to higher levels.
The collaboration between the Putrajaya and Negeri Sembilan associations also demonstrated how state-level organisations can work together to expand participation and develop a stronger pathway for future athletes.
With competitors representing several states and strong participation in both the men’s and women’s divisions, Battle of the Titans Putrajaya x N9 2026 added another important grassroots event to Malaysia’s growing strongman scene.
