BINTANGOR, SARAWAK, 30 August 2026 – Sarawak strongman Fadrick Ajang emerged victorious at the Strongman Pesta Meradong 2026, taking the overall championship title after an impressive performance in Bintangor, Sarawak.
The competition brought together strongman athletes from Sarawak and Sabah, with Fadrick overcoming a competitive field to secure first place overall.
Sabah’s Mohd Faizal Bacho put up a strong challenge and finished as runner-up, while Daniel Dagang of Sarawak claimed third place.
Sarawak athletes dominated the remainder of the top positions, with Mohd Ehsan finishing fourth, followed by Abdul Waffi Abdul Wahed in fifth and Celestine in sixth.
Agen Usum secured seventh place, Jelaing ak Lee finished eighth, Dennis Aba ak Dickson took ninth, while Andean Genting ak Jampong completed the top 10.

Fadrick Ajang’s victory in Bintangor adds another achievement to Sarawak’s strongman scene, while Mohd Faizal Bacho’s runner-up finish demonstrated Sabah’s ability to challenge strongly at regional competitions.
