Mukah, Sarawak | Kaul Festival 2026 — The Kaul Strongman Challenge 2026, held in conjunction with the vibrant Pesta Kaul Mukah, concluded with an electrifying display of strength, grit, and competitive spirit at the main festival grounds.
Organized in collaboration with the Sarawak Strongestman Association (SSA), the competition brought together some of the strongest athletes in the region to battle it out in the Men’s Open category.
Athletes were pushed to their limits across five demanding events: 300kg Tyre Flip, Car Deadlift (Malaysian-made vehicle), Atlas Stone to Shoulder, Batang Mulong Rope Pull (25 meters), and a grueling Loading Race.
At the end of an intense showdown, Muhammad Nur Arif emerged as the undisputed champion, securing 46.00 points and claiming the top prize.

The battle for the top spot was especially intense, with only a 1-point difference separating first and second place — a clear sign of elite-level competition.
The champion walked away with RM1,500 and a trophy, followed by RM1,000 for second place and RM700 for third. Prizes were awarded up to the top 20 athletes, highlighting the scale and inclusivity of the event.
More than just a competition, the Kaul Strongman Challenge stood as a powerful symbol of strength culture growing in East Malaysia — blending tradition, community celebration, and modern strength sport into one unforgettable stage.
